A theme that stays local.

Effective October 2, 2026. This page describes seafonic darkmode for HubSpot, version 1.2.13.

What the extension does.

seafonic darkmode changes the visual appearance of HubSpot app pages. It reads computed page colors locally to identify light surfaces, text, and borders. It does not extract, store, or transmit your HubSpot contacts, records, messages, account information, or other customer content.

What it stores.

The extension stores theme preferences in Chrome’s local extension storage: whether the theme is enabled, the selected preset, any palette file you explicitly import, and settings for each supported site. The Recently used list stores the supported site identifier and its last use time locally. It does not store individual page URLs or page content, and this list is excluded from the prepared account syncing format. These preferences remain in your browser profile. The extension does not sync them to a server or another device.

Why Chrome asks to read and change site data.

Chrome uses the broad permission label “read and change data on sites” for extensions that alter a page. seafonic uses this access to read existing colors and apply theme styling locally. It does not collect or upload page text, messages, passwords, or customer records.

Permissions.

The storage permission saves your default preferences and settings for each supported site locally. Account syncing is not enabled in this preview. Site access is limited to app.hubspot.com and regional HubSpot app subdomains such as app-eu1.hubspot.com, plus Commerce7 tenant admin domains under admin.platform.commerce7.com, Facebook at facebook.com, www.facebook.com and m.facebook.com, Instagram at instagram.com and www.instagram.com, and SoundCloud at soundcloud.com and www.soundcloud.com, so the extension can apply the theme there. It does not request access to every website.

External services.

The extension contains no analytics, advertising, remote executable code, external network requests, or HubSpot API calls. Clicking an About or Privacy link opens the website in a separate tab.

This website.

The landing page has no signup form, advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies. Its interactive preview does not store preferences. Hosting providers may process ordinary request information such as IP addresses and browser information to deliver and secure the site. Custom colors can be previewed temporarily without signing in. The preview can export palette colors as a CSV and create a public link containing only the colors. Preview changes disappear on refresh. Anyone with a shared link can view its colors. Account saving and community publishing are not connected yet. Account saving is not connected yet. The website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives ordinary request information when those fonts are fetched.

Deleting preferences.

Use default settings in the popup to reset the selected site or global preferences. Remove the extension from Chrome to delete all its local settings and Recently used entries.

Questions and updates.

Support details will be added before the Chrome Web Store release. Do not include private HubSpot data in feedback or screenshots. This page will be updated if the extension’s behavior changes.
